supervisor Herbert Kornfeld has been named
Midstate Office Supply
Employee Of The Month for January 2004. Administrative Comptroller
Gerald Luckenbill presented Herbert with a Citation Of Merit and a
$50 Midstate gift certificate on Monday, January 5.
Gerald said that Herbert showed an outstanding job performance in
the month of December. During that time, Herbert consistently
balanced the subsidiary accounts receivable ledger, maintained a
healthy receivable turnover ratio, demonstrated creative
decision-making in the area of debt collection, and demonstrated an
overall dedication to accuracy and professionalism. This marks the 58th time Herbert has been named
Midstate Employee Of
The Month since coming onboard in March 1993. He continues to
shatter the previous record of 11 honors, which was held by Accounts
Payable supervisor Myron Schabe.
Herbert said he will, as usual, use his gift certificate to purchase
a frame for his citation and donate the difference to the Assistance
